The day has finally come and I rejoice!

Sasha has passed me and assumed the #1 spot at TextSnippets

I’m so proud and absolutely love the fact that she’s not hosted at the TextDrive thing. That’s been one of the cooler things with Strongspace too, that most people are “new”.

YubNub

I’ve come to like Jon Aquino’s YubNub

So I’ve offered to “sponser” it (space, bandwidth, advice et cetera is on the house), and just finished putting it on a direct lighttpd setup.

What does this mean for Jon? Well, if it becomes more popular and has to scale, we’ll just help Jon do that. I think it’s the kind of nice little geeky application that could probably be killed by a dramatic increase in popularity.

I can’t stop looking at Mickael Therer’s ww2panorama.org.

It’s a series of beautiful, fullscreen qtvr panoramas of several WW2 European landmarks. I find myself exploring each one and the clarity and crispness of each makes me feel like I’m actually there.

Beautiful and quite haunting. Go take a look.
