Ah ha! I knew there had to be one in Railsday

Group 8, a Railsday Qualifier, did JEWEL: “a simple web application that tracks eating habits and weight loss. Users will be able to log meals and snacks, track daily and weekly calorie and nutritional goals, enter and track weight loss.”

I was telling Ryan (actually I think I tell anyone that’s even remotely pretending to listen to me) that the sitting on my TextAss so much has made me TextFat (but alas not TextPhat, if you know what I’m saying or rather sayin’), and that I should suggest something like … what is in JEWEL.

“Naw”, I said, “Someone’s going to do it. I betcha.”

Man, I hope it’s good.

  1. It would have been better if we’d had just a little bit more time. ;-) I’m sure Jim Weirich (the team leader for the project) has plans to continue developing it, though.

  2. On Monday night (20-Jun), Jim said that he had made some changes to it and was using it. (I’m thinking that I should start using it regularly, too.)
