Today Matt announced the Ping-O-Matic Global Network, “a global and redundant array of servers providing Ping-O-Matic service and APIs”.

The primary server is here at TextDrive (uses a bit ‘o the lighttpd) and mirrors have been contributed by Technorati, Feedster and Bloggers without Borders.

We’re happy to, in Matt’s words, participate in a project that “ensures that Ping-O-Matic will always remain a free, open, and non-biased community service”.
